Another of Tammy Feldott's (The Scratch Cake) wedding cake masterpieces slid into homebase for today's nuptials at the Popponesset Inn in New Seabury. This catcher's mitt is lifelike and can easily be mistaken for genuine leather. Such painstaking details! And can you believe Tammy fashions it all from scratch?! Definitely a homerun!
"Trash the Dress" just doesn't seem to have the same connotation. Elizabeth "trashed" no dress; she ROCKED whatever frock she put on that day -- seaside or country style (be sure to check out "Part II" of the blog coming soon: "A Little Bit of Country"). She had onlookers stopping to exchange a friendly word, people waving and shouting good wishes, car horns blasting their appreciation, ... we laughed, shook our heads and enjoyed the attention. Elizabeth, it was extremely rewarding to work with you. I will be your paparazzi anytime!
A special thank-you is extended to Lori at Falmouth Florist for kindly providing the florals for the shoot.
