Skulls and roses: the two sides of Sherry-Lynn. The edgy, no-nonsense lady and the soft, beautiful woman. When Sherry-Lynn contacted me for portraits showcasing her customized Harley Davidson bike, I just knew the pictures were going to be absolutely amazing. I just love the combination of this beautiful, classy woman and her beautiful, classy bike. As a Lady of Harley Officer and a member of the Freedom Chapter of the Harley Owners Group, the combination of Sherry-Lynn's session and a Silent Auction & Dance for Wishes event helped raise over $9000.00 for the Children's Wish Foundation to help a deserving child gain his wish. Thank-you to Don Straby with DJHoldings in Kemptville for the generous use of his property. From her pictures, you would never guess that Sherry-Lynn is a mother of married children and is a grandmother (!). She redefines our notion of motorcyclist, Harley, business woman, wife, mother, grandmother ... I love how she breaks, not one mold, but many. xox
Congratulations, Lisa and Ken on the arrival of Baby Easton to the world! What a privilege it was for me to photograph your sweet little family. Big Sister, Emilia, is a complete doll -- a tender little beauty; Easton is sure to be a solid, strapping, handsome young man -- he shows those signs already as a newborn. At over 10lbs at birth, he's got the true trappings of a rugby player (like Dad) -- the rugby ball foretells the future ... xox
