Audrey Hepburn, one of our quintessential icons of beauty and grace, was once quoted as saying, "The beauty in a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart; the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring and that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows and the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years."
Michelle is one such beauty and it emanates from her. Just look into her eyes and you will see where the beauty from without originates. The fact that she is beautiful on the outside makes her all the more stunning as well. I love and admire the fact that she decided to do these photos for herself - not for her husband or for her 3 little ones (although they will have these treasured keepsakes to enjoy) - but for her. Thank-you, Michelle, for the trust you extended me in capturing your beauty. May you be an inspiration to other women to remember themselves. xox

Brianna and Luke had a wedding day that many dream about and work hard to plan: bright sun, perfect warmth -- not too hot, not too cool -- beautiful venues, supportive family, fun, faithful friends, gorgeous details and the cloak of fall colours surrounding them. The day was perfect and truly couldn't have been scripted better. Faces were joyful, hearts full, smiles beaming. What a pleasure to witness, experience and photograph. Brianna and Luke, I see a lifetime of happiness and commitment in your eyes. It is an honour to have captured one of its starting points. xox
Baby Simon came to me at less than a week old for his newborn session and was an absolute doll. It is always a pleasure when past clients become repeat clients. I had photographed dad for his corporate and group headshots and was honoured to then be selected to capture such a special time in his personal life as well. Mom and Dad knew what they wanted for Simon's session and were sure to book as close to Simon's arrival as possible to get those endearing "newborn" shots. Mom has Russian roots so we were sure to blend the hockey loyalties in Simon's newborn pics. ;) Thank-you, John and Masha for the honour of capturing Simon in his precious and oh-so-fleeting early days. Enjoy!
"Grandma" Paulette (she's too young and fabulous-looking for the title of Grandma!) knew exactly what to get for Josee -- a lover of photography and a busy mom of two -- when her birthday came up on the calendar. Little did Paulette know that Josee would time her session so as to create Christmas gifts for Grandma on the sly! Two thoughtful ladies, two beautiful little girls, two great occasions to celebrate, one super session with super adorable results. Thank-you, Paulette and Josee, for allowing me to photograph these two particular sweeties in all their sweetness. Such an adorable stage for cherished keepsakes. xox
