A few years ago I had the privilege of photographing this family's beautiful first-born as she went off to college; this year, being in a different country, the stars still aligned for me to photograph equally gorgeous daughter number two as she went off to college -- and mom, dad and the last two siblings to boot! B. is a natural beauty, her eyes mesmerizing, soulful windows to her good, good soul. Her parents and siblings are dear to me and my family (just look at the evident goodness in their faces and family connection!). I look at their faces, feel happiness and know we will continue to re-connect despite geography and distance. Truly blessed and thankful knowing you, F. Family.
Good friends, good times, good, good memories. I look at these pictures and smile -- the distance bridged a bit each time. These faces are dear to me: near in heart, far from home. Lee and John, I hope a few of these favourites bring you as much happiness as they bring me. xox
I have had the pleasure of photographing the Willcox Family on several occasions and have always enjoyed the spirit, spunk and energy of these two little girls! You can tell from the twinkle in their eyes that they are ready to bound away and enjoy their own type of fun. Good thing we decided to hike The Knob in Woods Hole to keep their explorative personalities engaged and interested. The beach at the end gave them a welcome spot to run, build Tiki houses and generally be at peace with the ocean. Lisa and Eric -- thank-you for the continued privilege to photograph your family. It is one of my Cape Cod highlights. xox
Colleen knew she wanted keepsake photos of her and her daughter -- photos she knew she would cherish later as her little one gets older and photos that were long overdue. She waited for the right time and the day did not disappoint. Their session was relaxed, easy and filled with sweet moments of beauty and love. Colleen, thank-you for entrusting me with your personal investment. It warms my heart to know you will have these gorgeous photos of A. to look back upon with fondness. xox
Dawn knew she wanted her family photographed in a rural setting with long grass and a casual feel. What she didn't count on was having her family accompanied by a praying mantis for pretty much the entire session. The little critter helped keep another little critter ;) engaged and interested; it provided much merriment and entertainment as family members hopped around the field trying to get it back in their gentle clutches. Sometimes nature will provide you with exactly what you need. Thank-you, Mother Nature for your part in this fun family session.
