A lady who respects the classics, Heather knew exactly how she wanted to be photographed and what she wanted to showcase of her pregnancy. (She did humour me though with a few captures that had her giggling and laughing over my use of a fan -- she is glamour material peeps and I wanted to sneak a few in there!). Her outdoor session with her family was fun and laid back, the light golden and soft -- a perfect rounding out and end to her maternity session. Heather and James, thank-you for extending your trust to me to photograph such a special time in your lives. I look forward to photographing your family again when your little one makes their debut.

Colleen is one part Portrait of a Lady and one part 50 Shades of Colleen: Classy, elegant and smoking hot. Can you believe this woman is in her 50's? We should be so lucky to look this fabulous! What a fun, fun, fun session too -- lots of laughing, smiling and carrying on -- definitely one of my favourites. (It is said that the fruit doesn't fall too far from the tree and apparently Colleen has a smoking hot mother and daughter too -- oh what I'd give to do a multi-generation mother-daughter beauty session with this trio! ) Colleen, it has been my pleasure meeting you and working with you! So grateful we have crossed paths.
CBS's infamous Andy Rooney was once rumoured to have said, "As I grow in age, I value women over 4o most of all". He would have adored Heather: outgoing, outspoken, oh so gorgeous and over 40. Yes, over 40. And, yes, a mother of 4 to boot. Heather stepped out of her comfort zone, busy life, jobs and children to take some time to create some fun -- and stunning -- images of herself. She was ever-smiling, relaxed and genuine. Andy Rooney, you may be on to something. ;)
Joanne and Chris knew exactly what they envisioned in their newborn session and baby Ethan was happy to oblige pretty much without a peep -- AND with a smile or two! -- the whole time. At 18 days, Ethan was a treat: already plump, content and oh so adorable! Ethan's session truly speaks to Mom and Dad's lifestyle and interests: they came prepared with gifts from family, hobby and sport paraphernalia, cherished outfits and genuine gear from their professions -- can you guess what they do? Love it when all the pieces fall into place like this! Thank-you, Joanne and Chris, for allowing me to read from the same page as you so to speak and for allowing me the honour of capturing Ethan in his early days of such growing cuteness.
