Jennifer + James met through baseball, and after many innings, decided to play for the same home team. It was only fitting then that their engagement session be held at the diamond where they have spent so much time developing their friendships and relationship. Jennifer swears she knows every square inch of that field and now she and James are coaching their two little ones to follow in their baseball cleats. Logan already has a wicked throw and both boys are totally at home in the dugout and on the diamond. So looking forward to photographing this sweet little family when the four of them officially say "I do" on Thanksgiving weekend this fall. xox

Professionals in the arts are often urged to take the time to stop and create for themselves -- to push their own creative visions to spur growth and to challenge others that are like-minded to work together to do the same -- and that this in turn ultimately helps to better meet the needs of the clients they serve. That is what some of the best in Ottawa - Kemptville's wedding industry did. With only the concept of an extraordinary floral crown as a starting point, we came together to pool our individual talents to create a vision of stunning, understated bridal beauty.
Timing a photography session around spring blossoms in Canada can be tricky at the best of times: it involves good guessing, luck and a whole lot of flexibility to roll with whatever Mother Nature decides to serve up that spring. Kerri + Fred had the best of all of it for their engagement session. In particular, though, Kerri + Fred gave over their trust to me and allowed me to guide them through all aspects of their session -- and that makes all the difference, blossoms or no blossoms. Kerri + Fred, thank-you for the honour of your trust and allowing me into your special circle. I am so looking forward to creating some beautiful captures of your wedding + family celebration this August! xox
