Kerri + Fred were married amidst the genuine support, love and guidance of family and friends. Mother Nature could not dampen (although she tried with LOTS of rain) the spirit of happiness and goodwill held by all. A comprehensive slideshow is available by clicking on the following link: Kerri + Fred until September 5 for family and friends who would like to see the full day. A few favourites are showcased here ... Wishing you much happiness, Kerri + Fred! xox

Christal knew she wanted some "urban appeal" in her engagement photos, but logistics of work schedules, commutes and commitments can sometimes make a trip to the city somewhat unappealing for a busy couple. I knew, instead, we could find funkiness in our own backyard so to speak and we did: quite literally starting off in Christal and Conor's backyard. (I could have done their whole session there with that delicious light! -- perfection.) Architecture that had always caught my eye figured into the session next. I'm certain Christal and Conor thought I was nuts as I pointed out what may have appeared as random locations and then put them through their paces to capture the images only I could see in my mind's eye. Despite any possible skepticism though, Christal's reaction during her viewing session told me she was happy with what she was seeing: it's a good sign a bride likes her photos when she cries. So looking forward to photographing your wedding next, Christal + Conor! xox
Sometimes you just KNOW when something is going to be perfect. That was the feeling I had going into Jessica and Ron's engagement session. We had already been rained out once -- almost twice -- but this particular morning, the sun and light were absolute perfection and so worth the wait. The truck was glossy and in absolute mint condition; the recent rain only served to intensify the colour and appeal of the surrounding greenery; and nothing could dampen Jessica and Ron's spirits and excitement as we met at a private residence in Osgoode to begin their engagement session. (We are indebted to Brian K. for his generosity! Thank-you, Brian! Your efforts made all the difference!) There was lots of laughter in this session, sweetness ... and ... steam. ;) Can you guess how Ron proposed? It had more to do with four legs than four wheels. xox
Consumed by exams, graduation, prom and all the rites of passage that come with ending high school and planning for next steps, Brittany chose to do for her Prom Dress / Grad Session when the dust had finally settled and she could truly enjoy her session. Surrounded by the group of women who mean the most to her, Brittany once again donned her gorgeous dress, and amidst shining eyes filled with love and pride, she smiled and laughed her way through her captures -- the busyness of life and the future temporarily paused so she could just enjoy the moment. Simply. Stunning. xox
