Lori was thoughtfully gifted a session for her birthday and promptly booked a fall family session, knowing exactly where she wanted to have it: her home. And rightly so. The trees, symbolic of key family members, were on fire with autumn colour and vibrance; the family home was warm and inviting, once again ready to receive the adult children back into it. Rained out once already, the sun made a quick appearance, allowing us to beautifully showcase all family members. Thank-you, K-Family, for entrusting me to capture your family in a place they are most comfortable: home. (So looking forward to next April when two special people tie the knot!) xox

I began photographing this young family when Baby E. was only a few weeks old for his newborn session. Since then, I have been witness to the changes and growth this family has experienced. Hold them tight, Mom and Dad, for they are this little only once -- and it is fleeting. Thank-you L + K for the honour of continuing to share your little family with me. xox

This girl makes me smile, from the inside, out. Oh, I could squish this baby. Just look at her. Perfect in every way. A temporary gift to me as a photographer; a precious, precious forever-gift to Momma. She is special. xox
Anyone looking for a Zlomislic knows to look in the local arena or football field because a goalie stick or football is never too far from anyone's hands. This day, however, the family changed venues and spent some time on a favourite property, enjoying the sunshine, open fields and warm fall weather. Never fear though, the hockey jerseys, sticks and football DID make it into the session eventually! You can take a Zlomislic out of an arena or a football field, but you can't take the hockey or football out of a Zlomislic. ;) My pleasure. xox Josee + Martin knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding day: they wanted their exchange of vows to be small, intimate and personal, but they still wanted the pretty details of the day to enjoy for themselves and for their young son to remember in the future. Josee + Martin ultimately decided to elope -- yes, no one knew of their plans -- and be married under a wooden-covered bridge in the woods; they tied the knot in the exclusive company of their son and two close friends, surrounded by the beauty and intimacy of a woodland property and the details they desired. Josee + Martin, it was an honour to be entrusted with your special plans and to be able to provide a record of your marriage for your family and friends. Thank-you for that privilege. xox |
