"The Durie Boys" -- that is what I was affectionately calling these absolutely handsome, charming, young hockey boys during their family session. Could they be any more good-looking? (It's no surprise though: just look at mom and dad!) What a treat it was for me to photograph this young family on the grounds of their home, comfortable and at ease in their own environment. I love the air of ruggedness and down-home goodness that surrounds this family. Stacey and Todd: there will be hearts breaking all over Eastern Ontario as your young boys continue to mature into young men. {Sigh.}

My twins -- finally! at age 5 -- are starting to love the camera. Prior to now, it has been next to impossible to get a decent or workable capture of the two of them. (I won't even go into detail what happens when I add their older brothers into the mix.) This mini-session with my girls makes my heart swell: the light was glorious, the girls imps and their mother beside herself to finally have the stars allign. Happy to be able to share. Good luck determining who is who: they switched hats ... more than once. xox (Stay tuned ... steeling myself for my boys next.)
As little boys, my sons could never get enough of trains, tracks and lo, "Thomas". (In fact, they still willingly oblige their little sisters in a little wooden track building from time to time.) A pristine train was the perfect backdrop for their session (with a little bit of setting sun and field action thrown in to appease their momma). It's taken me a while to get these images and post up (as you can tell from the season and geography), but I'm glad: My little boys are growing up to be little men. I'm told I'll miss these days.
