Having a wedding in February comes with it’s challenges but, as a wedding photographer, you have to roll with the punches. A wedding anniversary in February helps to break up the Canadian winter and will bring cheer to what is typically the most challenging month of winter. Such is the case for Laura and Marc. Thankfully, a severe cold snap ended just days before February 16 and Laura and Marc were able to enjoy their winter wedding at the Baldachin Inn in Merrickville just as they had envisioned. The overcast day was perfect - the stuff of a wedding photographer's dreams! The ShootLaura and Marc got ready on-location, Laura in the Bridal Suite with her gorgeous dress from Sophie’s Bridal and Marc only a short distance away in this historical building. They met at the Courtyard (a favourite spot for this duo) for their first looks (Marc's face spoke volumes when he saw Laura) and then spent some time in the Ballroom and the Ruins for their creative photos. First DanceTheir ceremony was light and humorous, with many smiles exchanged. As a wedding photographer, this makes capturing photos enjoyable and easy. Coverage for us ended just as Laura and Marc's reception started, but not before we captured their first dance - where it was obvious to all that Laura and Marc had eyes only for each other. Congratulations, Laura and Marc! Thank-you for trusting me as your wedding photographer and including me in your special day! xo (Vendor list follows.) Venue: Baldachin Inn, Merrickville
