Michaela + Dan: Married, June 27, 2015 -- A Sentimental Backyard Country Wedding, Mountain, Ontario7/14/2015 I don't think there was a detail in Michaela + Dan's backyard wedding that was not sentimental or did not hold significant meaning. Such care and thought went into EVERY element of their day: from grandma's heirloom pearls, to a belt made of family broaches, to the bride's christening bonnet and grandma's pendant woven into the bridal bouquet, to the love of pink carnations, to a highly revered quilt blanket, to empty rounds doubling as groomsmen boutonnieres, to proudly displayed wedding gifts made with love, to a tree-planting ceremony that blended all families, to the groom's custom wedding band (that he only saw for the first time when Michaela put it on his hand!) ... the day was filled with meaning and connection to the past, present and future. However, the day's foundation was not based on carefully crafted details alone: if you removed every petal and accessory, at the heart, you would have still seen a marriage unfold based on sincere love and commitment, surrounded by the genuine support of family and friends. Congratulations, Michaela + Dan! I look forward to the mementos you will now create as "Mr. and Mrs. Logan"! xox Gown: Pronovias, With Love Bridal
